The world is currently experiencing an unprecedented situation with the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). While this impacts many people, we know that managing through this time may be particularly challenging for people living with diabetes.

For more information about Coronavirus (COVID-19), please visit the Diabetes Australia website or the Department of Health’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Page.

We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation across our business operations and we are working with local teams and relevant authorities as the situation evolves. Currently there is no impact on availability of our diabetes care products in Australia.

Our FreeStyle Libre digital ecosystem provides you with the FreeStyle LibreLink* app and LibreView, a secure cloud-based software with free access, that allows both you and your healthcare professional to connect remotely.  To download FreeStyle LibreLink, click here.  For more information on LibreView click here.

While LibreView is the best way to connect with your healthcare professional, you can also directly connect with them using the FreeStyle LibreLink app via text or e-mail.

In addition, remember that by using the LibreLinkUp app, you can invite your family/caregiver or anyone you like to also access your glucose data remotely, anytime.Visit to see how to do this.

* The FreeStyle LibreLink app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check our compatibility guide for more information about device compatibility before using the app.

The FreeStyle LibreLink app and the FreeStyle Libre reader have similar but not identical features. A finger prick test using a blood glucose meter is required during times of rapidly changing glucose levels when interstitial fluid glucose levels may not accurately reflect blood glucose levels or if hypoglycaemia or impending hypoglycaemia is reported by the FreeStyle LibreLink app or when symptoms do not match the FreeStyle LibreLink app readings.
