FreeStyle Libre has been available on the NDSS subsidy scheme since March 2020 and we are in discussions with the Federal Government to include FreeStyle Libre 2 under the CGM subsidy. When FreeStyle Libre 2 becomes available, FreeStyle Libre sensors will remain available on our webshop. We will communicate any future change to availability of FreeStyle Libre directly to our customers.
FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors (and reader if required) will be made available at the same price as FreeStyle Libre from our website www.freestylelibre.com.au. There is no price increase for this new generation technology, even with the new additional features.
† Finger pricks are required if your glucose readings and alarms do not match symptoms or expectations. For a complete glycemic picture, scan once every 8 hours.
