What you need to know.

Applying your new sensor is a lot easier than you might think – and it doesn’t require
painful finger pricks10. So, why wait another moment? Let’s get started.

Getting started with FreeStyle LibreLink12

Download and set up FreeStyle LibreLink12 on your compatible Apple or Android smartphone in just a few simple steps.

To begin, select an area on the back of your upper arm and follow these steps:

Step 1

Select site on back of upper arm.

Step 2

Wash site using plain soap
and water, then towel dry.

Step 3

Clean the area with an alcohol
wipe and air dry.

Optional glucose18 alarms notify you the minute your glucose goes too high or too low, so you can take immediate action. Alarms are easy to set up and fully customisable, so you can have peace of mind knowing you'll never miss a crucial moment.

Learn how to interpret your reading and what each element means. All elements of your reading combined give you a full picture of your glucose levels.

Once you’ve prepared the back of your upper arm, apply the sensor using the two-piece sensor applicator.

Step 1

Peel back and remove the lid from the sensor pack.

Unscrew the cap of the senor applicator, you will hear a click. Align the line of the sensor applicator with the line on the sensor pack.

Place the sensor applicator over the prepared site and push down firmly.

Step 2

Gently pull the sensor applicator away from your body.  The sensor should now be attached to your skin.

Step 3

Secure by pressing down gently with your finger around the edge.

Automatically share your glucose data with your healthcare team, allowing them to use the insights from your data to personalise your treatment plan and optimise your consultations.
