FreeStyle Libre 2 is subsidised for all Australians living with type 1 diabetes (eligibility criteria applies). This means you can access FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors either free of charge or with a small co-payment of $15.80 per sensor, depending on your personal circumstances. The process to apply for the subsidy is simple, and once approved, you can access FreeStyle Libre 2 from any NDSS access point (usually a community pharmacy).

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) may be able to offer funding for individuals requiring assistive technology such as a CGM device. This includes people living with Type 2 diabetes and who have a disability. Contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110 to find out further information.
